Executive Assistant ATC is the corporate commercial arm of the Co-operative University College of Kenya charged with the mandate to create outreach of the University’s academic knowledge through provision of business solutions to the agricultural, co-operative and the associated sectors of the economy.
We are a professional training and consultancy services provider in Kenya and the Region.
We seek to recruit an experienced, innovative and result oriented Executive Assistant on a three (3) years renewable contract. Based in Karen and reporting to the Managing Director, the Executive Assistant will be required to provide high-level administrative support to the office of the CEO by cataloguing and distributing information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings to the required standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Secretarial, Business Administration or Business Management.
  • Competency in organizational, planning and communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience, 3 years of which in supporting at the executive level.
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings and activities.
  • Knowledge in business operations.

Job Profile
Kenya Pipeline Company Plant Operator Job Vacancy 2012
Expected to carry out daily checks on equipment.
Operate machinery.
Carry out routine maintenance as scheduled or as directed by the supervisor.
Assist Technicians in maintenance duties.
Undertake good house-keeping plus cleaning equipment and tools.
Any other duties assigned by Chief Mechanical Engineer and Senior Engineer Mechanical.Person Profile
  • ‘O’ level Certificate.
  • Government Trade Test Grade I or Craft III Certificate.
  • Plant Operator Certificate and Driving License Classes BCE.
  • Served for at least three (3) years minimum experience in earth moving plant operation including excavator.
Key Competencies
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Must be practical, creative with problem solving skills and ability to work under no supervision.

The Technical Consultant – Business Productivity primary responsibility is to design and implement system to customers which will help them empower the information worker by simplify business process, access business information anywhere, enable information worker to work better together, Extend business data to more people, open communication channels ,collaborate securely and with customers and partners
  1. Candidate must have an understanding of customer business and IT environment, and have demonstrated skills designing and developing technology in area(s) of specialization to solve business problems.
  2. The role is required to have had strong experience in business productivity infrastructure solution design and delivery. The role is expected to carry out number of pre-sales activities as part of the duties in helping structure the engagement. The role will play a vital role from the beginning of the lifecycle, in understanding the risks in the migration and planning of the deployment.
  3. The consultant must apply analysis skills and experience to provide detailed reliable solutions and estimates for service implementations. To be credible, he or she must have current and deep experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office Communications / Lync Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server and Forefront Identity Manager and Strong understanding of competitive technologies.
  4. Expert level knowledge required for assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying solutions that cater to the customer’s requirements.
 Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Design and implement business productivity solution
  • Deliver task assigned to the by project manager on time and efficiently
  • Provide technical support for company’s customers in form of e-mail, fax, phone call, on-site etc.
  • Install/configure Microsoft software products in line with your job description product line
  • Diagnose/Troubleshoot Microsoft Products in line with your job description
  • Provide information/consultation for the customer about solution and  products in line with your job description product line
  • Account Management to clients in line of your job description and product line
  • Prepare all the necessary documentation required in a project handled.
  • Evaluate new products and Solutions in line with JD
  • Provide on-job-training for new workers in your line.
  • Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex technical topics to both executive and technical personnel
Minimum RequirementsFormal education or training:
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. Higher relevant education preferred.
  • Have one or more of the following certifications; MCTS- , MCAD.NET, MCSD.NET.
  • Previous work experience:
  • 6-12 years. of IT experience
  • Direct client communication
Desirable skills:
  • Minimum of 6 years of solid technical experience in delivering solutions (not just planning or establishing enterprise architecture).
  • Candidates must have been in a lead technical role for helping to architect and implement solutions with >500 seats or similar complexity.
